The use of corn grains to lure fish is widespread and universal in both the south and the north of China. Corn kernels contain vegetable fat, amino acids and a large amount of starch, and have a special fragrance. They have a strong allure to omnivorous and herbivorous fish in freshwater fish. Carp, crucian carp, green, grass, Wuchang fish and ilter fish have a special liking and preference for them, and can be called the king of bait.
Corn kernels are divided into mature corn kernels and green and tender corn kernels. Adult corn kernels are hard in quality, blister-resistant and eat-resistant, and are suitable for fishing in “big nest” for many days. Tender corn kernels are relatively not bubble-resistant due to their soft quality, and are suitable for fishing in “fast nest” on the same day.
Although corn grains are efficient in luring fish, improper techniques in luring fish will have little effect or even backfire. If some fishing friends do not know enough about the long time of making nests with corn kernels, they sprinkle the whole woven bag of corn kernels into the river. Before the nests are completely made, he has “pulled out the village and returned to the camp”. Some fishing friends also used improper techniques to lure fish, scattering a large number of green and tender corn kernels like raindrops to the dens. As a result, they got twice the result with half the effort. Luring fish turned into feeding fish, and naturally the fishing effect was not good. How can we make a good corn nest?
Experienced fishermen’s method of luring fish in their nests is “luring fish quickly, staying and fishing more”. In order to achieve this effect, they must pay attention to the following essentials.
First, the preparation of bait should be right
For fixed-point fishing with sea poles and luring fish in nests, sensitive yellow, large and full corn kernels of fish should be selected, soaked in hot water or boiled in a pan to produce fragrance (do not cook corn kernels), poured with appropriate amount of white wine, and mixed with a small amount of bean cake pieces. This kind of bait is reasonably prepared, “both actual and actual”, and has good quality, color and taste. Corn grains are sweet, bubble-resistant and eat-resistant. Bean cakes are mellow and hard in quality. Fish cannot swallow them. They can only eat the soft dandruff soaked in water. As a result, fish that smell from afar have food to eat, but they do not have enough to eat. They always swim around reluctantly. This creates favorable conditions for retaining fish and fishing more.
Second, we should pay attention to the techniques of making nests.
Cooking nests is a highly technical fishing link. There are fewer nests and no fish can be lured. If there are too many fragrant and broken baits, the fish will be full and go away. They will only play the nest but not continue the nest, and they will not be able to keep the fish. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt corresponding nesting techniques according to different fishing methods in order to be effective.
1. The sea pole fishes for many days at fixed points in the deep water area, and the amount of bait cast by the “big nest” is large. Fishermen should prepare the prepared corn bait in advance according to the date of fishing, and should have a planned grasp of the number of baits.
First of all, we should choose the bait feeding dens, fix the floats, and at the same time carefully make large nests. Secondly, the “base nest” should be cast more, at least more than 3kg of corn bait should be cast. Bait casting should be accurate and concentrated, with thin edges and thick centers, so as to form obvious targets at the bottom of the water and overflow rich fragrance. In order to lure fish quickly, a “virtual nest”, i.e. A “guide channel” for luring fish into the nest, should be sprinkled around the main nest, but the bait should be less than more, thinner than thicker, and the fish must not be fed on the “guide channel”. In order to retain the fish in the nest, it is necessary to continue the nest at the right time, at least 1-2 times a day, and the amount of bait should not be too much. It is necessary to “manage the food and add the food” so that the fish can always have food to eat before the fish in the nest can be retained.
2. The sea pole should “make a quick nest” when fishing at the fixed point in the middle and deep water area on the same day. With corn kernels as the main material, mixed with a small amount of soybean cake residue or soybean meal, it should be made well with a proper amount of white spirit, and the amount of bait should not be too large. Due to the short fishing time on that day, it can be scattered at one time, but the bait should be scattered accurately and intensively, not in large areas. This method of making nests and luring fish has both virtual and real features, fast nest development, fast fish luring and high efficiency.
Third, the luring power of bait is better than that of bait.
Luring fish into the nest is not the purpose of fishing. The ultimate purpose of fishing is to fish more and catch big fish. Therefore, the luring power of the bait must be stronger than that of the bait in order to make the fish compete for food on the hook. Otherwise, the fish will only eat bait and not swallow hooks, and all efforts to lure the fish will be in vain. At present, there are many kinds of corn bait, all of which have certain fishing effect.
In order to lure the fish to take the bait quickly, the fish should be given a “small stove”, that is, a small bean cake piece 4 cm in length and 4 cm in width under the hook pendant or a bait ball made of eggs on the pendant should be hung and thrown into the nest. When the fish enters the nest to eat the bait, it will naturally swim away and swallow the sweet and delicious corn bait in front of its eyes. This lure fishing method has better fishing effect in threshing grain nests.
