A fishing friend asked, “There are fish in the nest, but they never catch them. What’s going on?” This problem must have been encountered by many fishing friends. Clearly, there are fish in the water and fish bubbles in the nest, but there is no fish and there is basically no movement in the floating fish. In view of this situation of fish without mouth, the reasons are basically as follows:
1. Excessive atomization of bait
When the nests are atomized too much, many fish will be attracted to the nests, resulting in large and chaotic nests and low visibility. The fish in the nests can only smell the bait, but cannot find the location of the bait, resulting in no fish eating the bait. At this time, the nest material should be replaced quickly to avoid excessive atomization, so that the fish can find the hook bait in time and bite the hook smoothly.
2. Too much nest material is played.
The amount of nest material must be well controlled. If there is too little nest material, there will not be too many fish gathered in the nest. However, if the amount of nest material is too large, some fish will choose to move at the bottom of the water, especially when the temperature is relatively high, the bait is easy to ferment, thus reducing the oxygen in the nest. At this time, most fish will not enter the nest, but will choose to move around the nest. Even if a very small number of fish enter the nest, the possibility of biting the hook is extremely small.
3. The bait taste type is too heavy.
When the fishy smell or fragrance of the bait is too heavy, the attracted fish are numerous and miscellaneous. At this time, the fish generally only swim back and forth around the fish nest and will not enter the nest to eat bait. In this case, the bait formula should be adjusted in time, and it is better to mix the bait again.
4. The underwater silt is too thick
If the mud piled up at the bottom of the water is too thick, once the bait ball falls into the mud, the fish will be hard to eat and naturally it will be difficult to see any fish news. At this time, floats with large lead load should be used, and the floats should be adjusted to expose the hook bait to the mud, or bait with lighter specific gravity can be used to prevent the bait ball from falling into the mud.
5. Fish layer changes
In the process of fishing, the fish layer often changes. When the fish layer changes, the water layer for fishing should also change. Only by paying attention to the underwater dynamics at any time and making corresponding adjustments can a good fish catch be obtained.
6. Fish are disturbed
When the sound in fishing waters is too loud or frequently caught, it is easy to disturb the fish, and it is difficult for the disturbed fish to bait at ease. Therefore, when fishing, one must be careful not to make loud noise. When the fish takes the bait, one must lift the fish ashore in time to avoid running fish as much as possible.
